Three graduates have appeared in Tyumen from Leningrad University thirty years ago. There were Alexander Emanov, Sergey Pashin, and\u00a0Sergey Kondratyev. Emanov was engaged in history of the Italian colonies in Crimea during 13th \u2014 15th centuries; Pashin investigated the\u00a0destiny of\u00a0Red\u00a0Russia in the structure of the Polish-Lithuanian kingdom; and\u00a0Kondratyev studied the ideological sources of the English Revolution. They have created academic groups of young historians-medievalists, founded scholarly editions, organized academic conferences on medieval studies.
