I joined Vox medii aevi in 2016 when it was transforming from a student newspaper into a “real journal”, and I led it until 2024. I appreciate the opportunity Vox gave me to reconcile my constant desire to be of use with my pursuit of personal academic interests and ambitions.

I hold dear the principles that the editorial board has adhered to since then: the journal is published in open access because we believe that knowledge should be accessible. Each issue is centered around a main theme, because we believe that only in this way do the objects of our focus gain depth and dimension.
