“Vox medii aevi” in Search of Proper ἱστορία
This article describes the critical stages of the journey of “Vox medii aevi” from a student newspaper at the Faculty of History of St. Petersburg StateUniversity to an independent academic journal. In this text, the editor-in-chief and one of the oldest editors of “Vox medii aevi” journal offer an examination of its history by alternating subjective and (as much as possible) objective narration, drawing on the memories and comments of former and current members of the editorial board and highlighting the main stages and milestones in the history of the journal between 2011 and 2021.
